  Overview

Memmert cooled incubators are used in all areas of microbiology, from environmental research and environmental protection to foodstuff examination, pharmacy and water engineering. Memmert IPP Peltier-cooled incubators have advantages that make them the best choice for many laboratory uses. For larger volumes with the need for rapid temperature changes, the Memmert ICP compressor-cooled incubators are recommended.

The Memmert IPP Peltier-cooled incubators are the choice if more compact, quiet and vibration free solutions are appropriate, with more moderate loads and temperature changes.

The Memmert IPS Peltier-cooled storage incubators are the sensible and economic choice for storage, breeding or other uses that do not demand rapid changes in temperature, but require absolute reliability, precision and durability.

The Peltier cooling in the Memmert IPP and IPS incubators offer minimum energy consumption, for in contrast to compressor cooled technology, energy is only required when it is necessary to heat or cool down. The working chamber of the IPP and IPS incubators are completely sealed off from the environment, so there is minimal risk of samples drying out. Condensation formation during the cooling down process takes place outside the working chamber on the Peltier element.

The excellent controllability of the IPP models combined with their extremely small control fluctuations yield precise and smooth changeover between heating and cooling in a single system. The absence of a compressor provides extra space and results in silence in the laboratory.

The conventional ICP compressor cooled incubators and the IPP or IPS Peltier cooled models incorporate a precison well-proven Memmert control system for the controlled and documented storage and incubation of micro-organisms under real environmental conditions.

Modular construction gives tremendous flexibility to custom design a unit that has the technical features and accessories to meet any need.

All of the incubators feature double doors, with the interior one glass to provide a clear view without a drop in temperature.

Easy to clean stainless steel interiors are strengthened with deep ribbing. A wide range of options for programming and documentation using interfaces are available as part of the Memmert Generation 2012 class of products.
